LIQUOR LICENSING & HOSPITALITY

The hospitality industry is competitive, demanding and highly regulated. To stay ahead, sometimes you need a lawyer, sometimes you need a general advisor.  At Monaghan Lawyers you get both.

Whether you’re chasing a commercial opportunity in hospitality or dealing with a potential problem, we will work with you to deliver practical, creative and commercially focused solutions.

Monahan Lawyers founder, Tim Monaghan, has over 20 years’ experience providing specialised advice and assistance to hospitality clients of all types and sizes located throughout the Perth metro area and regional WA, obtaining liquor licences for new venues, improving trading conditions for existing venues and solving unwanted problems such as police prosecutions, liquor licensing investigations and resident complaints.

In addition to his legal skills, Tim has decades of “hands on” hospitality experience. He is a 4th generation publican who worked in the family hotel as a teenager and who in later life has owned and operated several successful licensed venues in WA and overseas.

This unique mix of legal skills and ‘hands on’ industry experience provides existing and aspiring hospitality participants with high level advice which is carefully considered, clearly communicated and above all, commercially focused.
